Spotsylvania Regional Named Best 2010 Health Care Project

Mid-Atlantic Construction magazine announced September 21 that Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is the Best Health Care Project of the Year. Designed by ESa, Spotsylvania Regional was recognized for construction and design excellence in the region that includes Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

This year, approximately 100 entries vied for top honors in more than 20 different categories, based on construction type. An independent jury of industry experts reviewed the entries. “Project of the Year” awards were given to the first-place entries in a category that the judges considered truly exceptional.

Spotsylvania Regional is a new five-story, 126-bed hospital that opened in April of this year.
